Engagement models

Three ways to run an India center. The right one depends on what you want to own.

Build-Operate-Transfer if you want the center to be yours. GCC-as-a-Service if you want a center without an entity. A managed team if you need dedicated engineers rather than a center. Each one can grow into the next.

    The three models

    In one line each.

    01

    Build-Operate-Transfer

We build and run the center, then transfer it to your entity on terms fixed on day one.

Best for: Companies that want to own a 50–500-seat center without running five vendors in parallel

    02

    GCC-as-a-Service

Your center on Talpro’s entity and balance sheet, for a monthly per-seat operating fee.

Best for: Teams that want India capacity under their direction without ever owning an entity

    03

    Managed engineering teams

Dedicated engineering pods that Talpro hires, employs and manages, and you direct.

Best for: Teams that need dedicated engineering capacity without setting up a center

    Side by side

Who controls what, who owns the entity, and how you exit.

Prices are set per engagement after a feasibility call; they depend on the role mix, the city and the number of seats.

    A path, not a lock-in

    Start small. Grow into ownership.

Many centers start as a managed team, grow into GCC-as-a-Service when the team becomes a center, and convert to Build-Operate-Transfer when ownership makes sense. The people and processes carry across each step.

    1. Step 1

      Managed engineering teams

Scale the team up or down; convert engineers to permanent roles, or grow into GCC-as-a-Service or BOT

    2. Step 2

      GCC-as-a-Service

Optional — convertible to Build-Operate-Transfer at renewal

    3. Step 3

      Build-Operate-Transfer

Ownership transfers on a pre-agreed trigger, by a formula fixed in the master agreement

    Specialist engagements

Two more ways we work, for specific situations.

    Advisory-only

The Advise stage on its own: business case, city, operating model and a risk register with owners.

Best for: Companies with an India leader in place who need the business case, city and operating model done right

    Rescue & Turnaround

We take operating accountability for an existing center, fix the plan, the compliance and the leadership, and hand it back.

Best for: Under-performing centers — attrition, compliance findings, missed velocity, leadership gaps

The assessment recommends a model in four minutes.

Size, timing, compliance exposure and leadership in place — and out comes a model recommendation. Or bring a headcount plan to a thirty-minute call.
